Bridgestone tyres | Australia’s Most Trusted Tyre Brand eight years running

Bridgestone Tyres

Tyres are one of the most important safety features of any car. For the eighth year running, Bridgestone has been named Australia’s Most Trusted Tyre Brand by the Reader’s Digest 2021 Most Trusted Brands survey. Every year, Reader’s Digest releases a list of Australia’s most trusted brands. Based on the views of nearly 2,500 Australians, this list identifies the nation’s most trusted brands across 70 different categories.

2021 marks Bridgestone’s eighth consecutive year as Australia’s Most Trusted Tyre Brand since the tyre category was first introduced in 2014, making it the only tyre manufacturer to ever be featured on the list.

Your tyre treads are the width of a single hand, and yet they are the only point of contact your vehicle has with the road. It’s the reason Bridgestone invests over $1b every year in research and development, refining tyres that exceed global safety standards.

Bridgestone Ecopia Tyres - reducing environmental impact

Bridgestone’s Ecopia tyres. Ecopia tyres have a low rolling resistance, reducing fuel usage, and have been independently proven to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Bridgestone also aims to reuse, or recycle wherever possible, working with accredited Australian Tyre Recycling Association member, collecting and recycling old tyres. This recycling system diverts tyres from landfill or illegal dumping. Instead, tyres are processed into a rubber crumb that can be used in everything from playground and road surfaces, to tile adhesives and compound for new tyres. Where tyres cannot be recycled, they must be disposed of in a way that is ethical, environmentally friendly, and authorised by the Environmental Protection Agency.
